There are quite a few people benefitting from the Work Programme, but very few of them are the unemployed and desperate.
The ‘volunteers’ who were dumped in the middle of London in the middle of the night had been transported up from Plymouth, Bath and other parts of the south west. A good move for a ‘charity’ looking for government contracts but it goes much, much further.

which in addition to getting brownie points for its involvement with Free Schools and Academies has as Chairman, Rosemary Brown OBE.
